International Integrated Solutions: Enabling Enterprises to Stay Current on Cloud and Big Data Innovations
HP offers many new technologies including Helion, Eucalyptus and CSA, Management software that provides a robust platform to build out Hybrid Cloud environments. IIS brings these solutions to clients helping them manage workloads that reside in a multi-vendor public, private or hybrid cloud environment; putting control back in the hands of the IT team.
With an industry presence of more than two decades, IIS understands customer’s business data requirements and provides assistance from its own Chief Data Scientist and Digital Data Marketing experts to assist customers in data mining and business analytics that aid in the growth of their business. Also, IIS harnesses the power of HP Vertica and Hadoop to help clients get relevant and real-time data. This allows the clients to leverage data more quickly to enable their business to create and innovate better. “Our partnership with HP and alignment with the HP Haven Big Data Strategy is instrumental to our success in the big data market,” says Iacone.

IIS differentiates itself with its best-of-the-breed robust delivery foundation, coupled with experienced account management, and robust system that supports customer’s project goals from start to finish. “Our customers leverage the resources of our test and integration lab to design, stage equipment, integrated and QA their solutions prior to shipment.” This process increases their time to value,” says Iacone.
In one instance, a large online retailer with physical infrastructure was facing issues with its low levels of redundancy, limited maintenance windows, and high operations and maintenance costs. Taking hold of the situation, IIS virtualized the customer’s entire infrastructure, including Windows servers and desktops. As a result, the client achieved a physical-to-virtual consolidation ratio of 20:1; hardware cost reductions of 9:1; and a Capex/Opex reduction of 92 percent along with ROI in just over one year.
Moving forward, the company plans to double-down in the area of security for 2016. “Also by implementing one of our core strategies of constant and never ending improvement (CANI), we are better able and equipped to learn and deploy new technologies faster and better than our customers who need to focus more on their day to day operations,” Iacone concludes.
